At Home Heating Hub, we provide free energy advice and grant support—but who are we, really?

We’re part of Communitas Energy CIC—a regulated, not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) with over 35 years of combined experience in helping households across the UK become warmer, greener, and more energy efficient.

What Is a CIC?

A CIC is a special type of company set up to benefit the community rather than private shareholders. This means all our profits are reinvested to support the people and communities we serve.

What We Do:

With expert teams working across Yorkshire, the North East, Cumbria and North Lincolnshire, we specialise in:

• Helping low-income households access government-backed energy grants

• Offering free Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) assessments when required

• Supporting energy efficiency improvements like insulation and heating systems

• Installing renewable technologies via our Ofgem Assignment of Rights status such as Air Source Heat Pumps

We work closely with Northern Gas Networks (NGN), local councils and other energy providers to deliver trusted, regulated support.
